LINING TECHNOLOGY
The VALQUA Group has been providing the world with high quality fluororesin lined tanks since it started manufacturing in Japan in 1972.
VALQUA NGC, which joined the group in 2017, added the technology of the VALQUA Group to its service line to cultivate the United States market and add a wide range of fluororesin materials. VALQUA NGC can flexibly deal with a large number of projects and costs by cooperating and networking with our group sites located throughout Asia.
Lining Sheets
Lining Sheets
We handle the following 5 types of lining sheets.
Please contact us for more information on sheet materials.
PTFE-ET
(T=3.0mm)
It is a sheet that has been given adhesiveness by chemically etching one side of the PTFE sheet.
PTFE-GB
(T=3.0mm)
It is a sheet that has been given adhesiveness by laminating a glass cloth sheet on one side of the PTFE sheet.
PFA-GB
(T=2.3mm, 3.0mm)
It is a sheet that has been given adhesiveness by laminating a glass cloth sheet on one side of the PFA sheet.
M-PTFE-ET
(T=2.4mm, 3.0mm)
This is a modified type PTFE sheet that has been chemically etched on one side to give it adhesiveness.
M-PTFE-GB
(T=2.4mm, 3.0mm)
It is a sheet that has been given adhesiveness by laminating a glass cloth sheet on one side of a modified type PTFE sheet.
※ET – Chemically etched backing
※GB – Fiberglass backing
※M – Modified
Life Expectancy of a Fluororesin Lined Tank
It has been found that the life of the lining tank depends on the permeation resistance of the chemical solution of the lining sheet.
HCL35% 70℃ ATM Thickness:3.0mm
The permeation resistance of fluororesin sheets currently on the market varies greatly depending on the specific gravity of the sheet as shown in the figure above. In other words, the lifetime of a tank varies greatly depending on the sheet selection.
